Appeals Court Upholds $1.5 Million Verdict
The Fourth District Court of Appeal recently upheld the $1.5 million verdict that Greg Zele and Greg Huber obtained in the case of Pierre v. Cooper Tire & Rubber Company. Greg and Greg obtained the verdict in March 2008 on behalf of Tavilia Pierre and her 5 children who lost their husband/father in a tread separation rollover accident in 2005. The verdict is believed to be the first verdict against Cooper Tire in the State of Florida and represents a significant milestone for the safety of Florida families. The appeal was handled by Julie Littky-Rubin of Lytal Reiter with the assistance of Greg Zele.
